Due to heavy restrictions imposed on all small gyms and fitness studios, Jean will regulate his practice to athletic therapy, and provide supplemental rehabilitation applications for those clients needing strength training beyond their treatments.

Athlete’s sport demands and training can be accommodated within our clinical setting or can be delivered virtually.

Clients or patients who require the development of their biomotor capacities within their rehabilitation program can certainly explore the boundaries of these abilities within an athletic or rehabilitation program.

Strength, being the primary bio-motor capacity, embodies itself into the rest of the abilities such as endurance, agility, balance, coordination, mobility, speed, and power expression,  Strength work is an integral piece in the patient’s rehabilitation program as well as a preventative/performance program.

For Competitive Athletes

Studies have shown that competitive athletes benefit from periodized and strength training programs for performance enhancement and injury prevention.  Athletes who complete off-season strength training are more resilient and likely more robust?

If you’re an athlete and underperforming, applicable strength work is recommended and provided here at The Body Tech-Athletics.

 

In-Home Workouts (Virtual training sessions)

Depending on the current CoVid lockdown restrictions or limitations, patient rehabilitation and training programs can be facilitated in our clinical setting due to our accommodating one patient/client at a time. Or virtual training sessions are provided as well if the client so chooses?

Weekly, virtual Metabolic and conditioning workouts, at all levels,  will be posted on our Facebook page: Starting June 1, 2021.

I started training with Jean at the Mademoiselle Women’s Fitness and Spa – Oakville in 2004. Jean is not the ubiquitous trainer or coach, he provided me a tailored program to meet my training needs considering my athletic goals and ability, always re-evaluating, augmenting and challenging me to new gains. Jean is also my Athletic Therapist and has provided care to address acute and chronic injuries. Jean has always provided exceptional care to address the acute injury and enacts a treatment plan that allows me to recover function and strength. I will continue to follow Jean as necessary to help me maintain and attain being active and strong. I would not hesitate to recommend Jean’s services.
